If you haven't cried yet today, you will when you read a copy of A Better Day - A Better Life. Kelly Wilson sent me an excerpt of her book, which was inspired after she had hit rock bottom in her own life. Her baby and her mother-in-law (unrelated events) died within the same time period. Her husband landed in the ICU and she was forced to stay on the curb even when she really wanted to thrust herself into traffic. That is, until one day she woke up to discover she could make her day better, even at the darkest moment in her life.
She established a model of relationship - with herself, with others, and with God. Whether you are a practicing Christian or not is immaterial. Her message hits home. You can't love anyone, including your own life, until you love yourself.
I was moved by her candor. I think you will be, too. Grab a copy. You'll be glad you did.
